Z100 fm Mati was originally launched as a music hit station (100.7 astig fm). It played mix music and opm hits, from 2009 to 2010. Freeform Radio Network  relaunched the station as Z100 fm Davao to cater to a larger more advertiser-friendly audience. Z100 is known to be the first & only internet radio in Davao Oriental broadcasting 24 hours a day.
